“I think (beating) Forrest [Griffin], I was a lot more excited. It was a knockout finish. After this fight [with Chuck Liddell], I wasn’t running around. I was physically exhausted.”
– Keith Jardine talks about his split-decision win over former light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell at UFC 76: “Knockout” on September 22. “The Dean of Mean” also mentions that he wants a crack at the current 205-pound titleholder, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, in early 2008. And if he can’t get that bout he’ll rematch Houston Alexander because “that fight should happen.”

i think that match up would be a good one now that jardine realizes just how dangerous alexander is. However before houston fights jardine i want to see how he does in the later rounds and how he does against a ground fighter. alexander vs. lister would be good if lister wins his upcoming bout.

I honestly think the time is right for a Griffin Vs. Jardine Rematch considering what just happened at the last PPV

This could be a big money fight for the UFC right now, not to mention it could set up a title fight for one of these TUFers. OR Put the winner of this fight Griffin vs. Jardine against the winner of the Tito vs. Evans fight and same with the losers fight each other.

lol..
not that i dont like jardine or griffin, i've been on the griffin bandwagon since i saw how fcuked in the head he was in season1.. but i dont think either of these guys deserve a title shot. Jardine beat chuck liddel.. but not the chuck liddel that we all loved for kicking babalu in the face or whomping on tito 2 fights in a row. Jardine beat the first appearance of old, lazy, and unmotivated chuck.
same goes for griffin, i think griffin should either be at the door of the top10, or maybe 10th or 9th.. but if you feed him to someone like rampage, then its game over. He beat shogun, but not the OWGP 2005 shogun.. this was tired after 1 round and slow on his feet shogun
think of it this way, if you can beat the ear biting mike tyson.. then you probably deserve a title shot. If you beat the tattooed face, monstermash singing mike tyson.. i think you got a little ways to go before you fight for the title

keith, is a good fighter if he fought houston again it would be jardines fight, and if he fought quinton he needs ta work on more explosive power and speed and work on not ever droping his hands and maybe work on some ground stuff too
