New interview today: 09/27/07
PDG: Fedor Emelianenko; it has been awhile since he has fought the top competition in the heavy weight ranks. Do you still consider him the #1 HW fighter in MMA? Bas: I do because of the way his career has gone. What some people don’t know is that with all of these beautiful fights he has had with the likes of CC and Antonio Rodrigo Noguira is that he gets better with each fight. He just keeps getting better and better and you can see that if you watch from the beginning until now. Fedor is just waiting for the right opportunity and opponent.

17-8 and 26-1.. don't really see how you can rank randy #1.. he has had 2 fights in HW...

But he's had only two HW WINS since he beat Rizzo back in 2001. I like Randy, but until Fedor loses or Randy beats a couple more guys, It's Fedor at #1

Yeah, randy also got pushed out of the div. Not like he lit it up when he was fighting before. It's a tough argument to make beside's he beat sylvia(wow) and GG(overrated).

Even though Fedor is better than Randy, Randy will most likely be rated higher before too much longer due to Fedor not being active.

i agree... randy is the man to beat fedor (if any) but who knows if he ever will or not.

depends on what your ranking them by, most have it as skill=fedor, recent success=randy
