I believe that Rich Franklin is going to be very ready for this fight. I have not been following my heart when it comes to my picks, I have been going with my head. I have a gut feeling that Franklin will win his title back. It might sound crazy, but I believe it will be with striking. I am predicting a second round KO, with Rich as the winner. Let the hating on my post begin! GO RICH!

well, i hope that rich will win but i am going with silva for my pick.
rich was not impressive against okami and he know that, i also think that to fight for the title in from of his home crow will be a little bit distractive and to much for rich.
i like rich and i want him to win, lets pray !! LOL

I just feel like Rich has never really faced top competition. I look at his wins and it's definitely not that impressive.

Rich will last longer, but won't beat Anderson. It's in the stars, you know? Speaking of stars, I wonder what Rich will see when Anderson KOs him again?

I love both of these guys...but Anderson more. He is the superior striker, and as Rich knows first hand, has nasty knees. So I guess you know who Im going with.

If Rich is smart and takes Anderson down and keeps him there until the later rounds Rich might get the cardio advantage and maybe catch Anderson off guard with an elbow to set up some GnP or maybe frustrate Anderson enough to get a sub. If Rich stays off the feet hes got a definite chance at winning a decision or finishing the fight in the late rounds.
I just think Anderson's sprawl is going to be too much for Rich while trying to avoid a knee or not getting subbed by a BJJ fighter.

Put yo money where yo mouth is.
I got $1000 on Rich. His last fight he had no idea how good silvas clinch was and the first shot got him partically knocked out. He couldnt recover. Anderson seems weak on the ground to me and if franklin keeps far in his punches in standup (hes good at staying outside) or goes to the ground, he can and will beat anderson.

how do you stay outside of anderson's reach and land punches on a striker as skilled as Anderson? Rich needs to do the exact opposite. Get in close where his size isnt to his advantage. If he can avoid the knees this time he can probably do ok.
Anderson's ground game is weak? Jeremy Horn and Travis Lutter couldnt submit him and he even caught Lutter in a triangle....Thats a very weak ground game....
