Since Elite XC bought Strikeforce & Cage Rage you know they will be having tons of title unification fights but the one that looks to excite me the most is the middleweight titles.

Who would win between Current Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Frank Shamrock and Elite XC MIddleweight champion Robbie Lawler?

To me this is my ULTIMATE favorite NON-UFC fight. Robbie looked EXTREMELY impressive against Ninja Rua and Frank Shamrock is just Frank Shamrock. He's just that freakin' good....

But who wins? I actually have Robbie Lawler in a Split Decision...because it will be THAT GOOD!!!

Robbie Lawler, third round, KO.

Edit: They should unite every title, and every company and then challenge the UFC.. forty different companies trying to compete for the second place spot, isn't threatening..

There is no option for Frank to take the easy way out and get himself a DQ

RIght now Lawlwer is riding pretty high... And he looked very mature and poised in his win over Rua... But I still would question his ground game a little... I def think he could outstrike Frank though...

I really really really hope to see a Lawler vs Le match... They are always talking about Cung's striking, and I would love to see how he matches up against Lawler

Well if they could get Frank to fight him, Frank would win TKO in the third.

And how in the hell does no one else have Shamrock winning, I hate him as much as anyone but the man has skills.

I personally "don't like" either fighter...this is pure unbiased opinion.
I just can't believe most of you feel Lawler would knock Shamrock out.
If the fight stayed up, Shamrock would out box him and eventually put him out.
I do think Frank would take it to the ground though to avoid Lawler's only real threat...his heavy hands.
On the ground...Shamrock would easily submit Lawler.
I think Lawler is very over rated and a bout with Shamrock would prove it.
Shamrock his "dismissed" far more experienced and far better fighters than Robbie Lawler.
Like I said though...just my opinion.

like ninja said he underestimated lawlers power and i belive shamrock would to and well see robbie controling where the fight goes cause shamrocks kness i.e fight with baroni takes downs are lacking and robbie will be able keep it standing or take it down to the ground. Id liek to see it but id put my bet on robbie with a late win or decision, but id rather see a miller rematch . but yeah i liek the strikeforce-elite xc middleweight divison right now it entertains me hopefully i will be able to see my chung lee vs ninja one day :D
