Highly doubt it. If he can't beat Jardine, do you really think he will get better over the next year it will take him to even get a title shot?

I don't think so, it took him so long to get the title and he had a good run it's just that he's getting old and he's no randy couture. it also doesn't help that he's a big partier and thus not always in great shape.

I heard he has made something like 20 million over the last 4 years so I think he has had enough. Do you guys think he could drop to 185 ( I doubt he would) He looks fat at 205 he would really hit hard at 185 that is for sure.

Yeah I agree with you guys. I don't think we'll be seeing him as champion in the UFC again.

You never know, though. But like someone said he's no Randy Couture. Fighters are so well rounded these days, and all Chuck seems to use is his strikes.

NEVER. He's too one deminsional, his hands are way to low, and Jardine exposed him at 76...

I think one time he said in an interview that he would have to cut off an arm and a leg to make 185.

I think he could, but he doesn't want to. He would have to not drink and diet really hardcore to make 185.

I love how quickly ppl get written off. Noone would've said even 6 mos ago that Rampage would be universally recognized as no1 in the world. Shogun and Wandy have also taken serious career setbacks recently. We really don't know hwo 205 matches up right now, we thought we did til the other night and we were all wrong.

We'll see.

I agree. He seems to fight the same way every time.

This is so true. Win or lose, champion or not I'll still be a big Liddell fan.

I don't think Chuck will ever reach the top again, he is 37 and is on a down hill slide, it will be hard to get off of the slide and back on the ladder.
What about the three fight loss thing? Will the UFC cut Chuck if he losses his next fight?

Can you name a single fighter that lost three times and got cut?

For chuck to climb to the top he needs to get a couple of good opponents. Wandy would have made him an instant conteneder. Maybe if he gets shogun and ko's him he gets a shot at someone good. His fighting style is a big plus though.
