I didn't even know he was coming to the UFC (still new at this stuff), but I've seen a lot of his PRIDE fights and think he's a great fighter. I'd love to see him fight again.

Right now I believe they have an option on him, or something like that, but aren't sure what to do w/ a guy who has a hard time making 265 in good shape. I think I heard dana said that at the prefight q n a before 75(?)

It would be interesting to see if Hunt could drop to 265. His style would be perfect for the cage. His strength could give contenders a run for their money!

hunt fought at k-1 for well under 265, so making weight wouldn't be an issue. for the visa, im sure they will have fixed as well. i think its more finding an opponent for him more than anything. i'd throw in scott junk or someone like that for his first fight, then let him move on up. i really think he could be champ if fedor doesn't sign. i don't see anyone that could take him tot he ground and finish him there

Nothing is solid yet, when asked when we would see Hunt in the UFC Dana only said that "things are still being worked out". Just like a politician, he answered the question without answering it at all. That could mean Hunt is on his way, it might also mean that they have no interest in every having him fight again.
