A rematch between Michael Bisping and Matt Hamill β€” cast members from β€œThe Ultimate Fighter 3” who battled in one of the most controversial fights in UFC history earlier this month β€” was originally scheduled for Nov. 17 at UFC 78.........

it takes a minimum of 6 months to heal, so I wouldn't anticipate the rematch until mid or late '08.

im getting sick of this instant rematch stuff
Ortiz - Evans sure that was a draw.

But this fight was a decision. If Matt Hammil wins and the fight goes pretty much the same way then the judging is gonna be called into play. We cant be constantly arguring that the way fights are judged is wrong. Personally i thought the fight was 29-28 for Hammil. But i thought that Bisping could have put on enough in the last min and a half in the 2nd round to steal it.
Winning the 2nd half of a round is more imp than the first half. Its the last thing the judges see before they score that round. Think about it. IF you just saw a guy being agressive for the last part of a round wouldnt you think that he was winning that round.
I really hope that Bisping wins. Just so we dont have to see a third match. Lord knows that if we have another close decison a rubber match is gonna happen pretty much right away. It was a good fight yes. But i personally like seeing fighters fight different guys.
Sure a rematch a few years down the road when the 2 fighters have progressed but instantly. Well how much different of a match can you see happening?

Ahh well a 6 month delay means Bisping will have to fight another UFC LHW who is better than him and get KTFO so he can then fight Hamill for his 2nd straight loss
