He was never top tier fighter, don't know why it took so long for him to realize this. Should have fought a striker earlier.
This is all I can muster for you at this moment...

and for good measure...

i think chuck's got plenty of fight left in him physically , couple losses just got him down mentally. can't understand how some people can claim he's not a top tier fighter ... he was the champ , and he's fought some of the best in MMA , many of them great strikers. i'd hate to see him retire.

I could see him retiring. . . and that's not a knock on Chuck at all. He's had a great, great career. He was champ for two years (not sure about that), he has had memorable wars. He doesn't need the money; if he no longer has the drive, he doesn't need to compete.
The other thing is, he's almost 38. Not everyone is Randy Couture. 38 is old for a professional athlete. Maybe his body just can't respond how it used to. I hope I'm wrong, that he comes back strong and great, but if he can't, he should retire now with dignity rather than try to force a couple of bad years on to a storied career.

chuck liddell just had a bad night and so did shogun they both possibly underestimated there opponet's and went in there like it was going ta be a walk in the park and both of them didnt train as hard as they used too they will come back and win trust me i know, and chuck should do is go train with silva, shogun, randy, matt, and dan at team quest and chuck should mix up his style a little bit and use more takedowns and kicks and more the kickboxing stance hes backkkk

I do agree that Chuck is one of the best in the LHW division, but i think it would be a terrible mistake if he was to fight WAND at this point and time. If he is to keep fighting he is going to need a couple wins before he will have the confidence to even compete with wanderlei. If they were to fight after this match with Jardine wanderlei would destroy Chuck.

Chuck should move up in weight and KO Randy again for the HW title
Or get completely dominated like the first time they fought. Then there would be no hesitation in Liddell retiring.

I admit it, I have multiple accounts, and have a trolling addiction that just cant be stopped. The only thing that will help me right now is an IP ban. Thank you.

Not being a huge fan of the Iceman myself, I have a hard time believing that he'd retire right away. I meen yeah he lost to keith jardine but he didint look that bad in the fight, jardine was 10x more bloody. Plus i agree that he's physically able to go for alot more fights in mma, I'd accually be sad to see him go i think...

If anything he should move down a weight division. He doesn't have the body type to be a heavyweight and he has fought as a middleweight before.

Chuck should not retire and should not fight Wanderlai Silva. He needs to rejuvenate the way he fights. He fights with no strategy except to KO his opponents and as we have seen that is not working. He needs to attempt takedowns and ground and pound his opponents, he supposedly has a wrestling background. He needs to improve his mobility he looks very slow, and he needs to defend against leg kicks and body kicks. He could have easily grabbed Jardine leg and took him down to the canvas. And pounded his head until Jardine didn't know where he was. As Jardine said Chuck offers no suprises so his opponents know what's coming. That's so much easiler to defend against. And for God Sake put your hands up in front of your face and block punches with your hands and not your jaw. He is one dimensional and has failed to learnt from his mistakes. Unless he makes significant changes he will continue to lose.

C'mon guys 2 losses and off to the retirement home??!! Chuck owned LHW for years!! I am not even one of his fans but damn...I wouldn't want to see him leave without fighting at least 2 more guys...Wandy and Shogun. Wandy has 2 most recent losses as well, and Shogun just had as big a loss as Chuck did against Rampage. Worse in fact because he got wore out with striking for 2 1/2 rounds before getting tapped out with only 15 seconds to spare. That is a hard one to swallow. BTW is it just me or did both the Rua brothers seem a little out of shape recently...I mean really gassing out in the 2nd??!!

everyone is saying that wandy would desrtoy chuck right now and this might be true as chuck isnt looking like the old chuck... but everyone is forgetting that wandy is coming off two knockouts and if chuck is gunshy then it is certainly possible that we might not see the old wandy either. i say they both need atleast one fight before they face each other that way they can both get there heads back in the game...
p.s. i think wandy has a better chance of coming back strong then chuck does and that means alot comming from me the biggest chuck fan on this website. and i pray that chuck is not past his prime and that he can become the old him once again but i dont know if that is possible.
