A Dec. 29 title fight between current welterweight champ Matt Serra and former champ Matt Hughes could have some championship company.

i like joe in this fight.
hes much stronger and has a lot better conditioning, wrestling and better striking too IMO.
he should sprawl and keep bj up and shoot when bj is off guard but keep bj flat.
if bj starts working for somethin, joe needs to just make him stand.
bottom line is that if joe wears him out, he can finish him.
joe stevenson wins this 1 by tko in the third round

Stevensons best chance at victory would be to keep Penn firmly pinned to the ground and elbow him to hell from the side mount.

However, that's easier said than done.I doubt Stevenson could even get Penn on the ground.Or if he did I don't see it happening until midway through the third round.By that time,Penn will have picked him apart for a little over two rounds.

BJ would own Stevenson. Stevensen almost just lost to Pelligrino who is a middle of the road fighter at best. The only thing Stevenson has on BJ is strength. The only fight BJ had bad conditioning was his second fight with Matt Hughs where he dominated the first two rounds, but he took that fight on short notice. I see BJ winning that fight by Submission in the later rounds.

I'd like to see them stand. I give it to bj either way.
