So, when I heard the "The Truth" was coming back, I couldn't wait to get to see him fight. I may be on my own here, but in my opinion Brandon Vera is the one guy I could see taking that belt away from Couture and........remember, this is just opinion.......give Fedor his first loss in a while. Fedor is one of my favorites and so is Brandon, but let's face it.....Vera is a badass and he can give Fedor his biggest challenge yet!!

Give me you thoughts yo!!!

I hope Vera can come back as good or better than before. Sylvia is a huge test for him. He is for sure is one of the more athletic heavyweights. I think he would give Randy a tough time but lets see his comeback fight first before jumping to any conclusions

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

We'll see how Vera does against Tim. I'm not a Sylvia fan at all but I really am looking forward to this fight. Vera also has express interest in dropping to 205 and he's called out Liddell (who at the time was the champ). Vera is always confident as well. If he keeps talking maybe he'll call out Randy but first he has to get past Tim which I think he will but who knows.

can't see Vera toppling the Last Emperor at this point in his career. Maybe if he racks up 2 more impressive wins over some ranked guys...

I hope Vera kicks Tims ass, and makes some major noise in the Division. But I don't think he is going to beat Fedor anytime soon. He might change my opinion with some fierce KOs, but not just yet.

Well first Vera has to get past Tim. Tim is an awkward fight for Vera IMO. But *if* he gets past Tim then I think we can talk about how he'd do against Couture and the other top heavyweights. This is Vera's biggest test to date, this will show us a lot about how he would stack up against the top talent of that division

Vera might be able to beat Randy Couture, but I don't think they would ever put him in a match with Fedor. Fedor would make Brandon Vera look like a practice dummy.

Vera has yet to prove himself against a top contender..

He looks a little small for HW too, and he looked shaky against Scherner... but no doubt he is a good, entertaining fighter to watch and I like him a lot... but he does need to fight a top contender..

Will be interesting to see him in there with big Tim... oh yah Vera Rd3 KO..
