Before I get started this is from a thread on Sherdog, but the guy seems pretty reliable... So take it for what it's worth..
There seems to be some confusion as to weather he's fighting on a new FN card in Dec or at 79(?), but I think this would be an exciting fight either way, and really hope it gets signed... Like I said, not a completely solid source, but seems to be in the know...

I saw that thread earlier today, and I'll just wait until it's announced officially to get excited about it..
..but IF it does happen, should be a great fight.. hard to pick a winner

I have also heard this also for a non-sherdog source. The rumor is it will be at a FN in Dec., but it is only an idea being floated around. They are still in the match making phase. I say book it. Great fight. I love watching Guida and we will finally get to see what Huerta is made of.

Agreed... I reallly hope that it does happen... I don't think that Huerta can keep up with the pace that Clay sets in his fight (for that matter, I don't think many people can)... And this'll be a real test for him... I'd worry a little about a dec going in Huerta's favor... Guida doesn't have the best luck when it comes to winning decisions...
On a side note, what a tough schedule this year for Clay... Din, Griffen, Aurellio, and now maybe Huerta... that kids puttin in some work

Huerta is overrated IMO...Guida would win the UD by GNP...
I would rather see Nate Diaz vs. Guida...
now that would be a war! Thats one of my must see LW fights up there with Nick Diaz vs. BJ Penn...

This would be a dope fight. Both guys always put on a good show. Both would benefit alot from beating the other guy. Good for the fans, and good for the UFC.

I love watching Guida fight, the guy is an animal, but so is Huerta. I don't think he's overrated. Whether its him or the UFC not giving him a serious test yet I dont know. He hasn't lost yet in the UFC and that counts for something. But yeah, Guida is no joke when it comes to the competition hes fought so far.

I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

I already started a thread on this. I heard it on Sherdog radio from Josh Gross. While Gross isn't on the best of terms with the UFC, he doesn't throw out rumors unless he's got a really credible source.
