that last round was epic. I thought Condit won but Lawler visibly hurt Condit more.

He hurt him more in 1 round and that shouldn't win someone a fight when they were completely outclassed and outstruck in 3 of 5 rounds. That's one of the biggest title fight robberies I've ever seen. Choked!

What was Condit's combo like at the end of the 4th, as I just have "a diverse assault" described to me?

Sounded like a heck of a fight. I'm also hearing that Condit out-landed Lawler by a decisive margin, including dropping Lawler in the first and unloading on him multiple times throughout the fight, while Lawler dropped Condit once and rocked Condit at the end while Condit was still effectively firing back.

I wanted robbie to win. But i had condit winning it.

He threw like 4 times more strikes than lawler did

Condit 3 rounds to Robbie's 2. The vast majority of mma sites also agree.

It makes me sick to my stomach watching a man definitevly winning the biggest world title in his sport than having it taken away by some shitty judging. I can't imagine how Condit and his entire team feels.. smfh

it wasn't that bad. The 3rd was close, had Condit winning too but not like a massive robbery in Lawler taking it

Just finished rewatching the 3rd round. Lawler won 30 seconds of the 3rd round and that was around 1 minute into the 3rd round. Condit landed over double the strikes than Lawler in that round and controlled the octagon more than 4 minutes of it. No way Lawler won that 3rd round and no way Lawler won the 1st or 4th.....so no way Lawler won that fight. It was a massive robbery in mine and many others eyes, I don't see how it isn't.

You should, and you'll see Robbie only won around 30 seconds between the 4 to 3 minute mark. Landed less than 10 strikes while Condit landed more than 20.

If Lawler really thinks he won I'd be surprised.

Condit won Rounds 1,3&4. Lawler winning 2&5.

That was an awesome fight though. Early front runner for FOTY.

Woodley or Maia next please.

Rory isn't in the discussion losing his last fight to Robbie and Hendricks vs Lawler 3 probably isn't the priority yet. Especially since Hendricks ballooned up too much and called in sick against Woodley.

I thought it was a major robbery. Lawlor was never out of the fight, and remained a threat until the last second (literally), but since it went to a decision - i don't think there was any question that Condit out pointed him in at least 3 rounds. The fight stats they were showing had Condit throwing 4X as many strikes.
