until he actually gets in the ring thats how I feel. seems as though he's so eager to fight, until the fight is in his division.

Jones via absolute humbling destruction
This is my opinion as well, which is why I've been more fond of the GSP/Silva matchup from the start. I think that GSP/Silva is more of a tossup. It's hard for me to imagine Silva beating a strong wrestler with a size/reach advantage, considering the rounds he dropped to Sonnen, Henderson and Lutter. I know the flaws with this argument, namely that he won all of the fights and Henderson and Lutter were a long time ago. But Anderson is getting up there in age and Jones seems to get better with every fight. I think that the odds in a GSP/Silva fight would be closer. I should disclose the fact that I would be rooting extremely hard for Silva over Jones, and the fact that I expect Jones to win that fight may also explain why I'd rather see Silva fight somebody else.

Jones destroys Silva and will be the first time Silva bleeds causing him to panic and pass out....
Jones by destruction from the great Greg Jackson game plan...I believe Jones lays on Silva for 2 whole rounds then stands with Silva knowing after the 2 rounds he doesnt have the power to KO Jones...
But actually I dont think the fight ever happens...

Before the Bonnar fight I would have said Jones but I'm starting to believe Silva just beats guys however he decides to beat them. Bonnar is a real big LHW himself and Anderson manhandled him.

Forrest Griffin according to Fight Matrix a statistic based ranking
10/1/2007 - Ranked 6th 7/1/2008 - Ranked 5th 7/1/2009 - Ranked 4th - Silva beat him in August. 7/1/2010 - Ranked 6th 7/1/2011 - Ranked 6th 7/1/2012 - Ranked 9th
So Anderson Silva's beaten a currently ranked top 10 light heavyweight, not just that, he's got a win over a light-heavyweight who's been in the rankings for 6 years. Only 5 light heavyweight fighters have stayed in the rankings for 6 years.
10/1/2008 - Ranked 1st
Anderson Silva has also beaten a former number 1 ranked light heavyweight.
Instead of disagreeing how about you take your comment back and admit your wrong for once?

Just cause he beat Griffin dont mean anythin...I meant today....4 years ago Silva was younger...Where is Griffin ranked right now in your opinion?
I see him ranked as 8 on fight matrix, which is way off, above Gusataffson....Do you agree with that?
Heres another site thats more the truth..
I think Griffin would lose to him, Anthony Johnson, Phil davis by dry hump, MO Lawal easily, Glover would KO him prolly and hes ranked 22 on this....
If your argument is where fighters are 5 years ago thats on you...I guess you still have Fedor as number 1... link

Just cause he beat Griffin dont mean anythin[sic]
I brought the statistics into prove that he has been a top 10 ranked light heavyweight for 6 years. Are you now going back on yourself by saying a top 10 light heavyweight would change they way you think? But then when a top 10 light heavyweight is mentioned it doesn't mean anything?
I'm a bit confused as to why you seem to be bashing Forrest? Rankings should be based off who people have beaten not who they are better than by that point no Fedor would not be number one but surely the way Gunnar Nelson destroyed Damarques would put him in the top 10? Or would Weidman... not be number 1? I don't think rankings are about potential, hence why Glover or Gustaffson aren't in the top 10
The biggest wins they both have are Te Huna, Vladmir, Thiago S and Hamill Forrest has beaten Tito, Franklin, Shogun and Rampage.

Did you really think he beat Rampage to start off? IF your answer is yes I wont even have the conversation....
I am not a Rampage fan and think hes a complete jackass but I thought he won the fight...
Also I looked at 5 different sites that had a LHW ranking...Only one had Forrest today....also your own MMA playground I looked back at 2008 and two people had Forrest as number 2 and 3 ....Some as low as 6 76 and 8..
Did Forrest beat a 100% Shogun? I am not one to point out injuries IM just asking....Does Forrest beat SHogun today?
Jeez back then how many wrestlers were in the division?
My point is MMA has drastically changed in 4 years....I mean a fighters skill set...
