I'm actually pleased with that decision. I thought for sure the judges would give it to Brookins for practically leaning on Koch the whole time... I gave Koch the 2nd and 3rd - more damage (even though there wasn't much of that either). Brookins tried all he could to get it to the ground, he just couldn't do it.

8-2 with a pathetic score but I got a piece of the hot bout and hit my parlay, so a solid night at least.

Kudos to the judges who counted the striking more than the cage control.
Technically, Koch took the Octagon Control as well
Octagon Control 1. The fighter who is dictating the pace, place and position of the fight. 2. A striker who fends off a grappler's takedown attempt to remain standing and effectively strike is octagon control. 3. A grappler who can takedown an effective standing striker to ground fight is octagon control. 4. The fighter on the ground who creates submission, mount or clean striking opportunities

I wish I could pick a finish correctly. I've had a pretty solid win percentage for a while now, usually around +70%, but I just can't pick a finish, jesus.

I can see #2, a little of #1.

I took the underdog bonus Yang in the next one, worked on the Benoist fight; I don't trust McGee's ACL recovery. I think he'll shoot slower for takedowns and won't have as good of movement and Yang has shown he can connect hard and his judo is top notch. Court was back training in about half the time for instance a football player takes with a torn ACL. I don't wish anything bad on him, but this is a very quick turnaround from that injury and I'd hate to see him reinjure his knee because of trying to come back too quickly.

Wow...I was expecting Vince McMahon to come out during the Rampage, Jones segment.
