Ever since it became clear that former Team Alpha Male teammates Cody Garbrandt and T.J. Dillashaw have been on a collision course, “No Love” has boasted that there exists footage of him knocking Dillashaw out during their time as sparring partners.

On Thursday, the UFC bantamweight champion finally posted footage of what Garbrandt alleges to be that KO on his Instagram page:

Can't see for sure who either individual is. Plus, why is there a camera there? Seems like a shitty place for sparring footage and even shittier placement for a security camera.

I only see a knockdown. Besides has there ever been a fighter that wasn't clipped, rocked, knockdown or out during sparring

Here's TJ's reply to that video

“Yeah, tell him to keep playing the video,” Dillashaw said. “I get up and start going again. There was no KO like he’s been stating.”

Honestly, who really cares. Like Shawn said, everyone's been dropped at some point. I don't know of anyone who regularly trains sparring that hasn't.

Wasn't the point of this to show tj up who originally claimed to have beat up garbrandt during sparring? I can't keep track of all this drama but I thought tj threw the first stone

Shocker there... Cody is full of shit again. God damn, the lack of brain cells in this guy is astounding.

And he very well could have beat up Garbrandt during sparring, as I am sure they have sparred for more than a 3 second clip

I wouldn't doubt it, but if it originally was tj running his mouth to get under gardbrants skin, then this would just be a rebuttal with evidence rather than words. Albeit shitty evidence but it's not like we're dealing with rocket scientist here.

Im probably gonna get this pick wrong because I'm going with TJ. But i can't stand Cody at all. So I'm not picking him this time. Besides if we throw MMA math out the window. I think Dillashaw matches up better than Almeida and Cruz, even though Cruz beat TJ and Cody beat Cruz. I just have a feeling if we don't see a KO from Cody this is gonna be a close fight either way.

I just think training is supposed to be something kept within the team. Unless it's a public session, there's no reason to be posting video of sparring sessions. Whether you like the guy or not. It's just another example from Cody that makes me dislike him. I'm not waving pompoms for Dillashaw by any means but I haven't seen him stoop to Cody's level, even when he was trashing Faber after leaving the camp.

There's also the fact that they've been sparring for years together. One sparring session where T.J. gets clipped once and stands back up again really means nothing.

That said, I think Cody will win this fight. We're about to find out.

Nice video but it's what happens in the octagon that counts and TJ served that tattoo neck cocky mofo some humble pie.
