Georges St-Pierre has had himself a busy two weeks. First, he announced he was teaming up with Bjorn Rebney, Cain Velasquez, Tim Kennedy, T.J. Dillashaw, and (maybe?) Donald Cerrone to form the MMA Athletes Association (MMAAA). And now he says he's back in talks with the UFC to negotiate his return to the cage.

In a recent interview with TSN, St-Pierre reaffirmed that his intention was still to fight again and that the UFC reached back out to him on the day he announced the formation of the MMAAA.

I am getting tired of seeing this headline every 30 or so days. MMA Media is like our own version of TMZ, sometimes.

Even if he does iron things out with the UFC to come back, there is a huge log jam in both the WW and MW divisions that who knows where he would fit into the picture. It will make things interesting if it ever comes into fruition.

I know, right. If it's a slow news day we're guaranteed one of these stories. Then a week from now we'll get a quote from GSP saying he never talked to them.

Does anyone actually care to see Nick vs GSP again? That first fight was terrible and aside for 20 seconds it was one of the most one sided fights I've ever seen. I'd prefer GSP vs Nate.

I don't care to see GSP fight either Diaz. Those fights don't interest me for GSP. Almost all the other fights that have been mentioned for GSP over the last little while I'd prefer over either Diaz brother.

I'd love to see it, but this is a bit ridiculous. Let me know when the cage door closes.

The incessant nature of these stories is frustrating in and of itself, but one has to question how good a gsp fight would even be at this point. This is like how the matrix sequel kept getting teased over and over and when it finally came out it sucked balls.

GSP vs Damian Maia with a semi main of Robbie Lawler vs Nick Diaz 2.

Much better.

Agreed 100%.....nobody wants to see GSP lay ontop of Diaz for 25 minutes again, avoiding submissions.
