The rematch is once again official.

Jon Jones will fight Daniel Cormier in a light heavyweight unification title bout at UFC 200, as first reported during a telecast of Good Morning America on Wednesday. The fight will headline the July 9 card in Las Vegas, at the brand new T-Mobile Arena.

I shouldn't turd up the punch bowl but I have no desire to see JJ fight anyone at LHW. He has already beaten everyone at LHW with relative ease (with the exception of Rumble). The fight he had with OSP was dull as fuck. He is soooo long and is cool with just stomping knees and poking eyes to a decision. It reminds me of GSP's jab a wrestler, wrestle a striker game plan. It is a very sound plan but makes for a dull performance.

Weak main event for the biggest UFC of all time. I have no interest at all in this fight.

Lol wtf. This is 10x better then Diaz vs Connor 2. I swear nothing could make some of you happy.

This is easily the biggest card ever. Hopefully Jones wins again and we can set up the Rumble fight!

Got mine as well. $650 lower bowl near the fighter walkout. I'll see you there!

Intriguing fight for a plethora of reasons but the main one being, which JJ will show up that night? The rusty/content on cruising JJ or the beast we've seen before?

Had DC fought the JJ that fought OSP, we'd be seeing a rubber match for 200.

just need mcgregor fans to understand that the reason their boy isnt on the card is his fault.

believe me, i love that he was going at the authority. i really thought he could get dana to cave. i was rooting for him. theres still part of me that thinks he still ends up on 200

but that doesnt take away from the fact that its his fault.

I like this main event way better than Diaz vs. McGregor 2. If there's any rematch to make right now, this would be the one. Both guys have fought other opponents since their last fight and are top of their division. You got the P4P 1 in Jon Jones who's arguably the GOAT of this sport, something Conor McGregor could only dream to be. I absolutely hated the fact they were doing Diaz/McGregor 2 as the main event for UFC 200 so I'm much happier with this. Plus, they're still looking for another opponent for Nate so there's a chance this card could get another main card bout on top of this. It's cool Jon will have fought on UFC 100 and UFC 200, it only seems right to have him on here. Him and Jim Miller are the only two that will get that honor to have fought on both. Also nice to see a heavier title being defended on UFC 200 as well.

The UFC really wins out here, by putting 3 title fights on the card they should break 1 mill ppv buys. Dana said they want McGregor on 201 or 202 so potentially they could have 2x 1 mill ppv buy cards in a row.
