Pride will never die, and nor will it’s allegedly shady tactics. You’ll be interested to see this video that shows a very fishy finish at Rizin FF….

WOW you guys are funny bwahaha

Shin hits ishiis arm but foot hits the side of head ,just catching above tbe ear, obviously it was partially blocked thats why he stumbles and isnt dropped but he immediately stands up after stumble.......then is dropped and finished with grounded knees.... have you never heard of a guy blocking a head kick but still gets his bell rung???

Nice try tho...

Also something to think about....

Why would a Japanese promotion rig a fight in which a Japanese fighter loses?especially in ishiis case where they have been trying to make him a new hw star.

Makes no sense for him to go down in the opening round in the debut of the new PRIDE.....not a great way to grow your stars.....

Its against a guy relatively unknown and basically did to ishii what an aged crocop did......not a surprise whatsoever.

I understand the knees probably caused some damage but how Ishii's all turtled up is kinda weak. Looks like Sapp in there.

They should be looking for a different HW star. If the fight wasn't fixed, Ishii didn't want to be in there.

Wow, that definitely looked shady. That headkick seemed to be completely blocked. Not like the forearm blocking the shin and the back of the foot hitting the back of the head, as we often see happen, but no connection whatsoever.

The way Iishi turtles up, the way his opponent seemingly hesitates on those well blocked grounded knees, certainly doesn't look good to me.

He hesitates to for a sec to see of ishii will get back up like he did after initial kick, then drops 2 solid kneese...

Well blocked kneese HAHA yeah ishii sure blocked them......WITH HIS SKULL....

Ishii is on par with roy nelson when it comes down to gameplanning and execution.....guy has excellent judo that he never uses offensively .If he were to mimick fedors style of boxing transitions into trips and throws hed be a formidable hw.

Unfortunately he tries to kickbox with a hot prospect who specializes in standup....like i mentioned before he got out kickboxed by old crocop man.

Japanese will still push him hes not thst old and has excellent judo creds like a yoshida just needs a few signature wins and imo i think he needs to be at 205.

Nothing with the foot even landed. The knees were legit though.

Looks shady but like FKA I don't see any benefit to RIZIN for fixing this fight in this manner.

Its possible that Ishii just didn't want to continue, or that the toes caught him on the temple while the foot and ankle were blocked by his forearm.

Its also possible that his forearm was hit into his head with enough force to affect his equilibrium.

I also don't think RIZIN would take that kind of a chance in its first event, a scandal in the debut show would effectively kill the organization's momentum before the Fedor fight even happened and why take that risk to give a win to a guy like Prochazka?

Anderson/Griffin looked more fixed than this but that's just me.

Flashy summed it up nicely. There is nothing to gain and virtually everything to lose with a fixed fight scandal at their first event
