I really hope this happens. JDS needs another big knockout on his record and I have little doubt he'll get it here.

Easy KO for JDS if this fight happens.

I think Overeem is an easy a KO for JDS as Mir is for Overeem. I would prefer for Reem to fight the loser of GG vs Micic and for JDS to get the winner. Either that or give him the loser of Browne vs Werdum...despite the fact that he has a win vs Werdum already, it would be a better match up at least.

yea I used to be a big overeem fan but after the failed drug test and getting viciously KO'd a few times, now I just want to see him get KTFO

I mentioned in a previous thread from yesterday that I'd enjoy JDS vs Overeem.
At this point I want JDS to get matched up with some quality fights but with him and Cain already fighting 3 times already I'd rather like it if JDS doesn't knock off any other top contenders for a while.
Even though JDS is my fav current fighter I don't want to see him and Cain until at least the end of 2015 or so. Same with Bigfoot and Cain. I think the majority would agree with me on that.
Maybe Overeem 1st mid year, if Werdum losses to Browne maybe have that JDS end of this year since Werdum won't be around for too many more fights, maybe Barnett mid next year and perhaps Stipe, Gonzaga or Struve a little later that year.

Who knows with injuries and what not and someone could surprise Cain and win and if that's the case JDS could get another title shot a little sooner as long as Cain isn't champ. But like I said so much could happen so this is all just speculation.

I personally think this is a bad match up for Mir. When Mir losses it's usually by Ko/Tko.
Despite Overeem's recent struggles I think he handles Mir in the 1st round. I don't see Mir being able to withstand the early punishment Overeem will put on him.

Easy win for JDS, but JDS can easily dispatch any HWT not named Cain.

As a huge fan of JDS I agree that he's 2nd best in the HW Division.
However I think a second Werdum match could be intriguing since Werdum has improved a great deal since their first meeting.
Also JDS/Browne would be very interesting. I'd love to see this matchup right now more than any other HW fight.
But like previously mentioned I'd like it more if JDS doesn't knock off any current potential contenders.
