UFC Featherweight Chan Sung Jung aka "The Korean Zombie" has posted a message to his Facebook page decrying the "rising sun" gi that Welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre wore to walk to the cage at UFC 158.

Very well written statement by Jung. Hopefully, Hayabusa and GSP are made aware of the mistake that was made.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

I am guilty of being completely ignorant of the symbolism of the Rising Sun flag myself. Thanks to Chan Sung Jung for dropping some knowledge on me.

I never knew that. I'm glad it was brought to mine and many mma fan's attention. GSP is the kind of guy that would never make that mistake on purpose so I give all the props in the world to Jung for realizing that and informing GSP in the kindest way possible.

I had a Korean room mate once & I learned really quick that all Asians hate all other Asians haha. I'm sure a Japanese fighter would have a different opinion on GSPs walk out attire but GSP shouldn't even be too blame, its totally Hayabusa's bad.

Me too, I can see why he's pissed it was used after doing just a little research. Hopefully GSP and Hayabusa address this.

well the Americans dropped a nuke on japan, Knowingly and willingly killed innocent civilians and children nobody complains when people wear the stars and stripes that represent America, and the Atrocities they committed on Aug. 16 1945.

The American Flag could be considered a symbol of the second largest war crime ever committed next to the holocaust

I guess if he was a Japanese Zombie, he'd have a different opinion.

Come now, that's moral relativism at it's finest. You should know better.

Well it wasn't nuke but nukes. We dropped them on Hiroshima and Nagasak. But you don't have a understanding of the history or what the word holocaust means. Lets start off by saying unlike Japan America didn't even want to get involved in WW2 till they were attacked by Japan at Pearl Harbor. At that point Japan had already committed huge war crimes and was also aiding Nazi Germany. By the end of WW2 Japanese military murdered nearly 3,000,000 to over 10,000,000 people. You add that to the fact they helped Nazi Germany in their efforts and you have huge problem.

The Atomic bombings killed 90,000–166,000 people in Hiroshima and 60,000–80,000 in Nagasak. But if they had invaded Japan they estimated the Allies would suffer between 1.7 and 4 million casualties in such a scenario, of whom between 400,000 and 800,000 would be dead, while Japanese casualties would have been around 5 to 10 million. So in the end using the bomb not only saved American lives but also Japanese.

I got the hammer and sickle tattoo'd on the back of my neck. Other than the cold war I never understood the hatred for it. To me it represents strength, power and straight up bad assery
