A light-heavyweight bout between Ryan Jimmo (17-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) and Igor Pokrajac (25-9 MMA, 4-4 UFC) is the latest addition to this summer's UFC 161 lineup.
UFC officials today announced the bout, citing an original report from The Canadian Press' Neil Davidson.
UFC 161 takes place June 15 at MTS Centre in Winnipeg and is the promotion's first visit to the Canadian province of Manitoba. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on FX and Facebook.
Jimmo vs. Pokrajac likely will be part of the prelims.

Ryan Jimmo it doesn't matter that you made it to the UFC your always going to be a Canadian Regional fighter. Well I guess they did throw him a bone with a trip to England.

Cowcatcher, you should take a trip up there and waive the Croatian flag in the stands

This is a solid match up.
They should of made this match up for Jimmo's last fight. Te Huna was to big of a jump up in competition. I see Jimmo taking this fight by decision. He will be back to his safe karate style in this fight.

How is it that some guys get lined up with stylistically perfect match ups while others get the exact opposite? Most strikers come in and have to run a gauntlet of wrestlers...he better make the most of this opportunity!

I've got Vegas for opening weekend of the NCAA tourney, so I don't think I'll be going anywhere else until the end of summer/early fall. That and I don't want to get my shirt pulled over my head and jumped Canuck style. Maybe if it was CroCop and I happen to win in Vegas I'd consider it.

Perhaps his shoddy ground game last fight against a powerful striker was a tip for the UFC to keep him away from wrestlers in general.
