GOLD COAST, Australia – If Vitor Belfort is forced to withdraw from UFC on FX 7, Hector Lombard would like the UFC to call him – stat.
Lombard (32-3-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) called out Belfort's next scheduled opponent, Michael Bisping, after knocking out Rousimar Palhares on the first main-card bout of UFC on FX 6.
"I will jump in," Lombard told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com).
Belfort (21-10 MMA, 10-6 UFC) and Bisping (23-4 MMA, 13-4 UFC) headline UFC on FX 7, which takes place at Ginasio Estadual Geraldo Jose de Almeida (Ginasio do Ibirapuera) in Sao Paulo.

I wouldn't at all be opposed to another mortal kombat fatality-level KO loss dished out to Bisping from Lombard. If Belfort gets injured I say book it.
WAR Lombard!!!!

Lombard looked excellent. Comes across as a dbag but then again a fight with Bisping would be perfectly fitting.

Not a fan of Lombard....but would be rootin for him to put those fists on Bisping...might just be another boring 15 kickboxing match, with Bisping running away the whole time then complaining when he lost...

Does Vitor just hate fighting in Brazil? Never faced Wandy, pulled against Belcher and maybe not fighting now? I actually have far more interest in Lombard vs Bisping.

I'm a fan of Lombard 'inside of the octagon'. He brings it, including last night. But I'd rather see Belfort vs Bisping fight. It's a more meaningful match-up for the division at this time.

Would kind of be forced to, if Vitor can't fight. Who would replace Vitor that is Brazilian at MW, that wouldn't be a total squash for Bisping, not named Anderson Silva??

This may be tricky to work out, but frankly, I want to see Lombard / Phillippou.

If Belfort cant fight I think that Lombard makes for a perfect replacement. Either guy vs Bisping will be an awesome fight in my opinion.
