Alright playgrounders, I need some diet advice.
I'm enlisting in the air force but before I can get past the bullshit and get to actual recruiters, I need to drop 15 pounds for the physical.
I'm 5'8" hovering around 200 pounds, and my frame holds alot of muscle so I'm not exactly a fatty. I've gotten all the basic advice (work out, greens, no bread, lean meat, lots of fruit), basic knowledge. I wanna get on a diet where I don't starve myself but can lose the weight reasonably quickly.
Lookin for full meal ideas that I can cook in bulk and then eat for a week. Any and all suggestions will be entertained.

Eat 5 small meals daily and drink lots of water. That basically trains your body to use the food as fuel instead of storing it like when you wait long periods to before eating. Hope this helps. Good luck my man

Here's what I like to do:
Marinate several chicken breasts. You can use different marinades to keep it interesting...or to make for better matches for whatever you're coupling it with. I prefer to grill the chicken, but whatever floats your boat. Once cooked, let it sit for a few and then slice it up and place in a tupperware container on a "thin" bed of cooked brown rice. I also like to use a harvest grains blend that they sell at Trader Joe's. It has Israeli style couscous, orzo, baby garbanzo beans, and red quinoa. Or sometimes even just some Israeli style couscous. Then toss whatever vegetable that you like with it. Just try to avoid carb-rich veggies like corn. When you go to nuke your food, the veggies should have enough moisture in them to keep everything else from drying out.
If you stick to lean proteins and vegetables only, you should have no problem losing weight. The little bit or rice/grains will keep you a little more sane, but you can adjust accordingly. I wouldn't recommend cooking more than about 4 days in advance though. 7 days is a bit sketchy, but you can probably get away with 5 if you really wanted to.
Also, you probably already know this, but stay away from liquid calories at all cost. And as stated above, more smaller meals is better than fewer large ones.

I'll make it easy, Paleo diet. there's tons of info on it out there and you WILL NOT starve on the paleo diet. it's worth checking out, it's big in the crossfit world and a lot of fighters use it (including myself). i think it's just a solid diet that wont starve you and it's pretty east to follow. good luck

fairly simple take your current diet. subtract 500 calories. you'll lose weight. to lose weight faster increase activity levels with the subtracted calories.
