Just wondering if anyone else plays this regularly or if anyone else has done Road To The Show.

My pitcher is the Ace for the Cleveland Indians in only his 3rd year. Which doesn't say a whole lot because we're a basement dweller. I refused their 7 year $12.7m deal. There's no way I'm signing with this shitty team (no offense Indians fans) for what amounts to under $2m a year. I'm making them sign me year to year until I become a sought after Free Agent.

I was hooked on MLB The Show 2010, after playing MVP 05 for years on the PS2. I never thought a game could equal MPV 05, but the Show went beyond that.

I play 2011 and in my 2nd full season with 30 games to go, never simulating a game. I play as the Yankees and after the 1st year in the off season Arod retires. I must have retried the offseason close to 75 times and he never once didnt go into retirement. Found out later that its a glitch in the game.

I'm pissed, I meant to grab this but mistakenly grabbed MLB 2012 and although the pitching dynamic is awesome, its no "The Show". I'm going to grab this on payday next week.

I have the show and I love it. It was the main reason I bought the PS3 to be completely honest. See I am a spontaneous shopper and I had enough money in my wallet to buy it so I did. I am already done with the month of April in my game this year with the Cubs and I am doing pretty solid after starting a meaning less 5-5. I am now like 17-8 or something.

Has tried the Road to the Show mode?? Where you create a player and then take him from AA ball to the Majors if you can.

Also Shawn, did you notice if any other players wound up doing that? I also have 11 and, while I don't care because it's a roster spot, huge name players have been retiring left and right. I think it's odd.

I wasn't dumb enough to buy '12. Stick to '11 or wait for '13. '12 isn't worth the money.

Pretty much the same for me. 162 games, then playoffs, then spring training. I want to play more than 1 season before a new one comes out.

Heard 2012 wasnt much different than 2011's anyhow.

Here's what stood out negatively to me about 12:

1. They had two install options 5G and 10G. That's ridiculous.

2. They changed the pitch meter and made it a timing sequence with the X button in an effort to make it harder to locate your pitches. Like I should have to work harder with someone like Lee or Halladay (just an example of control aces)

3. they still didn't fix the shitty online play. It's still impossible.
