A welterweight bout between Mike Pierce (13-5 MMA, 5-3 UFC) and Carlos Eduardo Rocha (9-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) is the first planned addition to the currently unannounced UFC on FX 3 card.
MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) today confirmed with event sources that the show is expected to take place June 8.
While the main card would air on FX, officials haven't finalized a venue for the event, sources said.

I like this fight way more than the Silva match. I'd rather see Silva slowly rise up the ladder, Pierce was too big a jump in competition imo. He should be fighting someone like Mike Pyle or TJ Waldburger.

I don't really care too much for the standard wrestler in ww. They fight very similarly and I don't usually find their fights that exciting: Pyle, Pierce, Hendricks, Story, and sometimes Eberger and Sanchez, depending on who they're fighting. I expect pierce to win but would like Rocha to win.
