you want to discuss the subject of teammates fighting each other, it’s not something the guys working out of Team Cesar Gracie take kindly to.

Nick is right it's all about the spotlight with Bones and Evans screw that Diaz wouldn't betray his training partner for a title.

How is it betrayal? Football players literally attack each other with full force on a weekly basis, and some of those guys are probably very good friends. There are countless other contact sports that can result in injury between competitors that could also be good friends. It makes no sense to me why professional fighters can't engage competitively with one another for the sake of the advancement of the sport.
This is an individual sport, not a team sport. You train where you need to train to better yourself; it's not personal, and there's no reason why friends can't still be friends afterwards.

MMA isn't even comparable to Football when it comes to physicallity. Football is a game not fighting. Tackling someone is not the same as trying to KO them or Choke them out til they go cold.
