Possibly, as he hinted at during yesterday's press conference. "I'm still thinking (on fighting in Rio). But I'm always training," he said laughing. "This return of UFC to Brazil touched me, made me feel the wish of coming back to the Octagon. Everything has being negotiated with Dana White. Let's wait and see." Renzo Gracie is also being rumored as a possibility for the event.

I'd like an order of "no thanks", hold the nostalgia.

If its the right opponent I'm not against it. He fought Hughes when Hughes was still on top of his game, that was kind of throwing him to the wolves. If he drew an established guy like Trigg, Baroni, etc., that wasn't one of the top dogs I wouldn't be opposed to it. Believe in something man!!!

Maybe if Dana throws enough money at him Marc Laimon can make his debut and try to back up his smack talk.

That I would love to see, I can't stand Laimon.

As much as I respect the Gracie family, I just can't bring myself to be excited to watch Royce and/or Renzo fight. The thought of them fighting does nothing for me.

I like the idea of them fighting, and 10 years ago it would have made alot of sense.

But I don't think Royce of Renzo can beat any top contender in the UFC, at welterweight or middleweight. Matching them up against a contender would more than likely result in an emotional loss in front of their own country. Now, they could throw them up against journeymen/cans, but that's always been against what the UFC does. Furthermore, with Brazilian stars such as Shogun, Aldo, Alves, Dos Santos, and pretty much everyone with the last name "Silva" all vying for a spot on the main card, it would be hard to justify saving a spot or two on such a potentially pack card for the Graciesl. Plus, it would be a sacrilige to put them on the prelims.

It's a good thought, but it makes little to no sense to do it. I hope it does not happen

Royce Gracie's Return To UFC? Possibly.

Maybe a classic match up on the undercard against someone like Saku, Newton hell even Shamrock at a catchweight! Apart from that I dont want to see him fight any UFC talent.

I would definitely watch Royce/Sakuraba, or Royce/Newton. But there is NO way it would be on the undercard.

I say give it to them. This card is more than just entertainment for Brazil, it's a way of life. It will be a celebration for them. If they want Royce and Renzo on the card, I say give it them, even if it's on the prelims. Some non-Brazilian fans might complain but that would be just stupid, considering it will only be taking up prelims and fans watching from PPV probably won't see it anyway.

I would actually be excited to see Royce fight. Don't give him a high ranked fighter, give him someone making their debut or a gatekeeper. That way if they do win against Royce, it will add a name to their record.

I'm not sure whether this would be genius or moronic.

On the one hand, the Gracie family name means a lot in Brazil. Most of the Jiu Jitsu guys I know still say the name 'Gracie' like its 'Jesus.' It could be that this would be very important for Brazilian fans.

On the other hand, that might be simplifying the Brazilian fans too much. Educated fans are aware that neither of these guys is still relevant in the sport today. They have a lot of other fighters to be proud of. This isn't like having a card in Germany where you have to struggle to find world class MMA talent. Brazilians have always made up a large share of the top fighters. It may be that they'd appreciate a current brazilian star (Rua, Machida, Silva, Silva, Silva, Silva) more than a historical one.
