Sorry- I'm not going to give Fedor in the UFC another thought until I actually see him standing across the octagon from an opponent.

Strange that Iole is the one saying it this time.

Fedor will never fight in the ufc because its just not worth it, not woth it to dana and the fertittas, st pierre, anderson silva, brock lesnar, randy, liddell these guys draw waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy more ppv buys then fedor does and for a 10th of the pay so ....
3 million or whatever he wants, his management wants the fertittas to build frickin rock stadiums and crap the whole fedor thing is getting ridiculous he is pretty much the reason affliction will sink and he probably doesnt care??? the question is where will he fight, will he ever fight again after affliction closes the doors, who can afford it and who is willing to pay for him.
and as far as him wanting to fight in other organizations while under ufc contract is stupid, would u pay someone 3 million to fight somewhere else and what if he gets hurt then thats f***ed theres go ourr investment, like fedor cant spare 1 year or 1 fight from his sambo tournaments

I'd love to see it happen, but it never will. I think it would be very worth the UFC's time to continue trying to get Fedor, because while he's not a big draw--he certainly could be. With a strong concerted marketing effort from the UFC he could be one of the top draws.

You do know that if they were able to get Fedor under contract he would become the biggest draw. They own the Pride archive, he alone is the reason Affliction is drawing anything, so it would be easy for them to promote him into the greatest fighter ever. It would be easy since he acctually is.

It's got be something big if GSP/Alves isn't the main event. My money is on Cro Cop, since Dana said he's talking with him about a return, although that's been rumored for 99. What other belts aren't tied up for that date?

I just don't see a Cro-cop fight against anybody knocking GSP/Alves off main events status, fairly clear they are the 2 best welterweights in the world at the moment. Cro-cop return to UFC with a sub 500 record .....still exciting fighter but not main event, no way. I see Anderson on the card doing something to co-main event that with GSp/Alves. As for Fedor LOL.....

The only two fights that could conceivably outdraw St. Pierre vs. Alves in the main event at UFC 100 are Evans vs. Jackson and Emelianenko vs. Couture. My money's on the former. (Fedor will never fight in the UFC.)

Yep the Fedor thing is a stretch
But Rashad V Rampage being the headliner is easily forseen
The only guy i want Couture to fight would be Nog
Or possibly Coleman for a novel legends match
Other than that Kongo has more right to fight the oldman than Mirko
