Brazilian brawler Wanderlei Silva is scheduled to meet with UFC president Dana White this week to determine his next challenge.

The former Pride champion is not thrilled about a possible cut to middleweight. He walks around at 215 pounds, and doesn’t like to cut more than 10 pounds for a fight. He denied an immediate move to the division below him, but said he would wait to hear from “the boss.”

I really worry about a few of the Pride Fighters and where they are headed!!!

Wandi seems like he has taken too much damage, Big Nog seems like he too has take way too much damage.

There have been many fighters from Pride that have come into the UFC and really struggled to make an impact. We have even seen a few cut, Crocop and sokodu, just to name two names that jump to mind!!!

That being said, I hope that the Axe Murder can make the cut and does really challenge, 2 big wins this year and towards the end of the year a title shot!!!

Seems easy enough on paper.

I hope they don't make the rematch, who cares to see that fight. When they fought for the first time it was great but now they have already fought no point to fight again.

No need for the rematch... It wasn't that long ago and wouldn't prove much...

I really dont' think Wand wants to prove anything to the fans as much as himself... It seems like he really wants the fiight on a personal level and who are we to say it doesn't make sense? I'll sure as shit watch it again

the first fight was so entertaining that i cant believe a lot of you wouldnt want to see it again. ill see any rematch if the first fight was as good as their first, i could give 2 sh*ts if a fight helps a guy towards a title shot, im not their manager or making a buck off of it, im a fan and all i want is to be entertained.

This fight wouldn't do any one any good if Wandy is going to MW it dosn't help him at LHW to get a win. That would be like Rich Franklen dropping back down for one fight and then coming back to LHW. It dosn't help Chuck or Wandy " No fight"

I dont see this happening from a promoters point of view, Dana has nothing to gain two of his companys biggest stars both needing wins desperatly why pit them against each other when one is sure too lose?

because thats the same problem they came out of when they fought the first time and when fighters are desperate they will put on a great show

There isnt as much hype for a Silva/Liddell 2 because they both aren't on top anymore. Where as the first fight was hyped up because the winner could move closer to a title shot.

Its like the same thing with Faber and Pulver, the rematch is too soon.

But silva prolly wants to put on another good show for the fans like in the first fight, so that is prolly wandy's main reason and he just loves to fight.

I agree. I thought the first fight was great. Why not run it back? And let's not forget before Big Nog and Wandy got beat--by great fighters I might add--they were both showing quite well against other fighters.

Now, the difference between Griffin and Wandy of course, is wandy has been in a million wars so you don't worry as much about Griff...but they both got KTFO.

I'd like to see Liddel and Forrest but I woulden't mind seeing if Wand would acctually fight to win. I think if he used kicks he would take out chucks legs. I'm still amazed that a "striker" would not know how to check a kick.

Wand will knock him out this time around. But I'd rather see Shogun do it after he takes out Coleman.
