Yoshihiro Akiyama completed a long road back to the top with an emphatic KO of top Middleweight Denis Kang at K-1 Olympia HERO's in Korea. The fight was Akiyama's first since his No Contest against Kazushi Sakuraba that left Akiyama disgraced amidst cheating allegations. The KO in front of an emphatic crowd capped off a card loaded with upsets.

I figured that would be a war, didn't expect it to end in round one though. Akiyama is a very good fighter, his suspension set him back a bit though.

It really wasn't a war at all. They traded some shots, and in Kang fashion, he became injured early with a broken nose. Akiyama backed him into the turnbuckle and moved in for the kill, catching him with a nice uppercut. Kang was out cold.

Honestly i wasnt able to do proper picks for that show i had to do it all by record reasearching. Im in Canada and my cable network doesnt give K-1 PPV so im stuck in the dark when it comes to this stuff. Who would have bet that Mr shark would take out minowa huh. maybe i should start giving lesner a little credit. or maybe kim for training enough to pull it off iunno. see i didnt get to watch it damn it. Does anyone know of a place or site i can find these videos. If denis kang gets ktfo its sumthing i gotta watch you know what i mean? Not cause i dont like em, because hes never been ko'd. TKO yes but not KO.
Can anyone help?
