BJJ sensation Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza, coming off his 6th win in 7 fights, recently denied internet reports saying he had signed with Zuffa and was headed to UFC.

Based on other comments he made, it sounded like he almost had a deal to fight for the now-Zuffa-owned WEC, but apparently it fell through.
