Chase Beebe $10,000? I understand the McCullough $24,000 because the WEC LW title is not THE TITLE, but Beebe is the top at 135 and they are still paying him very little. Torres got more for his 135 victory. Beebe must have an old crappy contract.

That is horrible. I can't believe they gave Bebee 10grand. Being the best 135lb fighter in the world. As of now. I would love to see Torres vs. Bebee. Would be a fantasic fight.

You have to remember that Beebe was basically brought in to lose to Eddie Wineland. His victory was a big upset. I suspect many folks believed Yahya would walk out of WEC 30 as the new champion, but Beebe showed that his win over Wineland was no joke.

I'm sure he got the fight of the night bonus in addition to his base pay and win bonus, which, according to Logan Clark (WEC Middleweight fighter) is good for $7,500. $17,500 for the second fight in WEC isn't too shabby.

And if Beebe keeps this up, he's going to be making much more very soon.

Either that or they are paying them by the pound. But seriously, thats what I ment by "old crappy contract". Torres got a much bigger payday. Once Beebe's contract is up and if he is still the champ then he should be making a lot more.
