Pretty good read, although nothing is mentioned specifically about Fedor's status with the UFC

"With Fedor (who has suffered injuries) in the last few years, we have had to refuse an opponent on occasion because they were not a good match-up for the particular injury that Fedor was inflicted with at the time. "
im interested in what fighters were allegedly passed over because of Fedors injuries and how they matched up w/ opponents. People have been saying monson was one. The other interesting point from this article is the elbows in the UFC and Fedor's tendancy to cut, which could end fights. However, it wont matter if he is on top, postured up dropping bombs, and even more exciting, elbows of his own.
