Up-and-coming featherweight Cub Swanson signed his contract Sunday to face former UFC Lightweight Champion Jens Pulver at Sept. 5’s World Extreme Cagefighting event at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.
Word of the bout – Pulver's first since his second-round submission loss to BJ Penn at “The Ultimate Fighter 5” Finale in June – was announced today on TAGG RADIO. The fight will also mark Pulver's debut with the WEC.

That should be a fine little fight! Glad to see they are giving Swanson a test.
I'm pretty confident the winner of this will get a title shot.
