3 choices, 2 contenders, 1 superfight.

Pick one.

Personally I don't see another option beyond Khabib right now. Cerrone was handled by Pettis the first time and nothing has happened to suggest the same thing won't happen again in a rematch. And Pettis is away from the cage too much to warrant doing a super fight this early into his title run.

Considering how injury prone Pettis is it doesn't make sense for a superfight. He's lucky to fight twice a year so he needs to defend his belt against 155ers as soon as possible.

I picked Khabib, but I wouldn't mind seeing Aldo vs Pettis if it were Aldo moving up as opposed to Pettis moving down.

I say as long as there is a legit contender in the division (Nurmagomedov), a champion shouldn't consider a superfight.

I personally think superfights should be done once both champions' divisions are cleaned out or to punctuate a full career, or of course if a fighter changes weight classes and has an inevitable clash at the end of a title run (presumably a shorter run than the average fighter since they are already proven). If they already held the belt at a weight class, they can cut in line upon returning to their previous division since they didn't lose the belt in that division (they vacated it).

1. Fix Khabib's name
2. Get Cerrone off the list (he's matched up with Jury, and no one wants to see a rematch)
3. Get another LW on the top 3 to vote for

I picked Aldo because I think Aldo would win. I actually think he would beat Pettis in a one-sided fight. Not saying Aldo would dominate, but it would be a clear victory for him, I imagine.
If Aldo did win, then we could see Aldo vs Nurmagomedov. How can you not be interested in that?

Edit note/reason: EDIT- Aldo at LW is what I want.

Too early for Pettis vs Aldo. Pettis still has to show everyone that he owns the LW division. First step in doing that is beating Khabib "The Russian Blanket" Nurmagomedov
