The UFC confirmed Wednesday on his Twitter microblogging account, the fight between light heavyweight Dan Henderson and Rashad Evans. The bout will take place in the edition 161, on June 15, at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg. which will be the fifth Canadian city to receive the major league of MMA world after Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.

Unlike what was expected, the fight between Dan Henderson and Rashad Evans will not be the main event of UFC 161, which already has another big showdown in your card: the Brazilian Mauricio "Shogun" Rua and Rogério Nogueira, "Minotauro" make the long awaited rematch on Canadian soil.

According to the UFC's director of operations in Canada, Australia and New Zealand, Tom Wright, the organization still worth announce a fight for the belt to be the "main event" edition of 161.

Duel for rehabilitation

Dan Henderson and Rashad Evans were defeated at last entered the octagon. Hendo lost to Lyoto Machida in a unanimous decision at UFC 157 on Feb. 23 in Anaheim, California. Evans, meanwhile, suffered a setback before "Lil Nog", also by unanimous decision at UFC 156, on the 2nd of last month in Las Vegas, USA.
