Alright guys, you decide. Who will be the Welterweight that finally defeats Georges St-Pierre for the WW title? Or will he remain the Champ until he decides to retire?

I'd LOVE to see Demian Maia get a title shot at this point. That would be my dream match.

I voted GSP to retire undefeated. He's just too good and Rory McDonald would never fight him so that rules that option out.

I gotta go with Rory Mac here. I think GSP gets past Diaz and Hendricks fairly handily, and if him and Rory won't fight, then I really like the Maia matchup.

I would hope he vacates the title to move up and acclimate himself to middleweight, working his way up through the ranks so he is used to the weight by the time he faces Silva... giving us a series of good fights and improving his skills even further along the way, which would make the super fight even more anticipated.

I'm not sure if Silva has enough time to wait for that to happen though.

If Rory grows a set of balls, we may see Gsp dethroned..

Tyrone Woodley might be an antidote to Gsp..

there should have been a "none of the above" choice. i think GSP would retire as champ before ever losing to any of the other choices on that list. i would like to see him fight maia though, i would still pick GSP by UD but it would be an interesting fight. i dont think maia wouls be able to take GSP down like he did to fitch.

i dont think he could either but I didnt think he would come close to doing that to fitch.then even when fitch stuffed the take down he just took his back. That was a shocking fight

There are those out there who have what it takes to beat GSP, but I'm not sure he'll have the time or willingness to fight them. Obviously he and Rory won't fight eachother. That's best for GSP because he'd lose and lose hard. I see Rory being better than GSP everywhere except takedowns. Rory has better ground control and clinch game though. Better standup as well. But it's no matter. They won't fight. Guys like Gunnar Nelson show tons of promis and have all the tools to beat GSP, but will GSP stay where he is long enough for Gunnar to make his way to him? Don't think so. If Erick Silva could add some solid TD defense to his game he'd be more than enough for GSP to handle. Other than that I don't see GSP losing to any top current vets of the division.
