Not a fan of this announcement. I'm a fan of the Flyweight Division although they need to build that Division before adding another. I'm even okay with the Women's Bantamweight Division. But that's where I draw the line. Why fix what's not broken. The UFC should just leave everything (weight classes) the way they are. I even think the 230 lbs weight class should never happen. As a HW if you are under 230 lbs you can make the 206 lbs. And the HW Division isn't al that deep either.

Sod that, we need a super HW division so Brock comes back and fights Giant Silva, James Thompson and Bob Sapp.

Next will be Paperweight because they won't weigh more than a sheet of paper.
Those little guys will be quick as fuck.

That's what I'm saying. SHW fights are rarely technical but always entertaining.

I'm guessing midget weight class is next after 115 is added.
FAP!!!!
There is a joke here involving you and Kpro that hasn't been used before, I'm not clever enough to find it

I'm not even really interested in 135 or 125. I'm not interested at all in WMMA.
These fights are gonna suck.
They always try to tell me how fast these guys are and how technical they are.....
But I just can't get into it. They have trouble hitting each other. When they do, there's rarely much power. They don't have enough weight to hold each other down. Really just not fun to watch.

Not really interested unless they put on more shows. Shit moves so slow as far as movement in the divisions.

i really enjoyed the MM/Dodson fight & i enjoy 125 division, but there's like 6 guys in that division. we're going to see so many rematches, it's ridiculous. until they build it up & make it credible, 115 should never happen. WMMA is already getting its chance & they have even less fighters than the 125s! i think it should be years before they even discuss another weigh class.

Wouldn't a straw weight division mean Ronda Rousey could stare down at smaller male fighters and run her mouth about them too ???

I think Dana may have meant this as a women weight class. They need more weight classes for women...a straweight is fine. Most in shape women are between the weighst of 105 and 145 anyhow. if your 105-120, you fight straweight, if you are 125-145 you fight at bantam weight. Some have to give up weight, others have to cut. In all reality you can have a decent, almost complete women divison with onnly two belts.
But yea, no men.

Hahaha I can't believe all the whining about this announcement. Don't cry because a 5 foot 115er would beat your ass.
