Ever since his loss to Ryan Bader at UFC 144, Quinton Jackson has made it more than well known that he's unhappy as a UFC fighter. Over the last year he's voiced numerous complaints about being mistreated by the promotion and dissatisfaction with being matched with guys who just want to wrestle him to a decision.

I say don't bother trying to make a deal at all. He's lost a ton of fans over the past year and he hasn't been an exciting fighter since he KO'd an undersized Wanderlei. I was a big fan of his for a few years but I couldn't care less about him now.

Dana can be a real hardass at times, but at his core is a deep and genuine concern for the welfare of his fighters. Sure, he wants guys to get after it in the octagon, to finish fights with violence and style, but he also wants them to get paid and to be in a position (both physically and mentally) to retire with grace. A lot of it has to do with his love of the fight game, and I'm sure he's been saddened to see great boxers fall into poverty and dementia.

If Rampage has saved and invested wisely, he'd of course be set for life. But it can't be fun to watch how he's ended up behavior-wise, especially when it's your job to promote him as a fighter.

I thought it would be more than $15 million. He's fought 11 times in the UFC and headlined plenty of those times.

Rampage has been acting like a bozo. I hope he goes to Bellator so Mo and him can finally knuckle up.

Good comment by Dana. He's right, Rampage has made a ton of money fighting with the UFC. I also think they have treated him very well. And Dana is ready to make another offer, it just shows they are willing to keep paying him. Danas right, Hawk and Dydrek make that much, not just from skating, but they both have their own business and clothing lines. Rampage has been taken care of well over the year. I bet after his fight with Glover, he signs a 3 or 4 fight deal with the UFC again, because he knows hes being bullheaded.

Well, I hope Rampage has saved a bunch of his money. Otherwise, we will soon see him fighting Kimbo Slice in some regional Casino.
