SAO PAULO – Despite his "Submission of the Night" win over Wagner Prado at Saturday's UFC on FX 7 event, Ildemar Alcantara was never expected to be a UFC light heavyweight. As it turns out, he might not be a middleweight, either.

170? Wow. I didn't see that coming. 185 was a given but 170 is a whole different animal. He's going to be a tall WW.

he may have tried to put on some weight in the two weeks before he fought. if he walks around under 200 then its definitely possible. he only weighed in at 201lbs on Saturday.

I thought they both looked terrible. Guy was all over the place out there and being smaller isn't going to help that much.
