Junior Dos Santos made his intentions pretty clear a little more than four years ago in his UFC debut.
His giant right uppercut landed on Fabricio Werdum's chin like it was attached to a piece of construction equipment. And suddenly, the mostly unheard of Brazilian was known by plenty.

"I prefer to keep it standing because I'm very confident in that area and I believe I can knock anyone out in the world"
minus roy nelson of course
i think if he wants to play around on the ground with cain he's gonna lose his title. i think cain's wrestling is too good and the submission wont come. junior needs to be practicing his TD defense and getting back to his feet.

He's not saying he plans to fool around with the ground game. He meant if Cain does manage to get him down, he'll just use his BJJ.

I agree. He just recently got his Black Belt. And JDS's TDD is not too bad last time I checked.

If Cain get's him to the ground he won't be able to use BJJ offense, Cain has some of the best Ground-n-Pound in the UFC. He just circles around guy's while continually to hit them with shots. He constantly fight's for great angles to punch people in the head and doesn't take breaks, why JDS said this is beyond me.
