MMA in NYC? It looks like it's going to happen very soon. In fact, rumor has it that they would be able to put on events within 2 weeks if they wanted to.

Basically there's a loophole that would allow a 3rd party sanctioning body to oversee the event rather than the state athletic commission. The Zuffa's lawyer said they'd take what they can get.
