why did you laugh? Around here there isn't squat for boxing/MMA training gyms, it's tough dude... definitely not a joke. This is something he takes serious as hell

I'm sure your "buddy" Jean is serious, JMoney(is it really your buddy or is it you?), but you have to understand that a video of shadow boxing, push ups, and a tattoo isn't really going to impress a lot of the folks out there. Iowa was a hotbed of American MMA at one time not too long ago so finding a gym shouldn't be a huge problem, and without joining a gym there isn't much chance at all of going far in this sport. Tell your buddy(you?) that if he truly is serious about fighting he needs to get to a gym and put in the work and learn. It's easy to say you want to do this, it's another animal actually dedicating yourself to it. I wish him well if he dedicates himself and does things the right way, if not he's probably going to get a lot more negative feedback than positive. Plus it's the internet, you have to expect some negativity and not take it personally.

Yes that's my best friend, why would I lie about that? Thanks for the advice, anyone else? You also have to remember, it's harder for him... he has no car, no money. Nothing, no support from his parents or anything man. So getting to a gym and paying money is a little out of the question right now
