Cormier vs. Barnett is going to be a great fight.

Barnett and Cormier should be a good scrap.

At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in the playground is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no props, and may the mods have mercy on your soul.

Same. Barnett will have a hard time taking him down and Cormier showed tonight he has some serious power. I'd go with Cormier by tko in the 1st.

I always have loved him for what he represents. He is the heir to a tradition that goes way back to when professional wrestling was real and not entirely dissimilar to what mma is today. MMA fans should read up on guys like Frank Gotch, George Hackenschmidt, Stranger Lewis, Farmer Burns, and the like. It is interesting.

He is also a unique figure in MMA. There was a time when he was the next big thing a la Vitor Belfort. While neither has really ever reached those expectations, both have remained competitive far beyond when other fighters of those days have faded into history. With Josh Barnett there is some good and some bad, but I don't let the bad get to me

I remember at the start of the tournament, betting on a replacement fighter to win the whole thing was at 40-1 odds on some sites. Always bet on a replacement to win a tournament.
