and you think this is laughable why?

Kid is one of the best P4P in the world..

Explain your reasoning!

I think he means that Kid should be ranked much higher than that. IMO, Kid is top3 p4p. Only Fedor and GSP are comparatively dominant.

Kid is tearing the 145 division. Nobody is on his level. The reason he's not ranked higher is probably because not a lot of people follow the lower weight classes.

Thanks for setting that straight... Kid is by far the best P4P fighter besides Fedor, GSP and Cro-Cop...

I ranked him 3rd, but I think if the UFC does open a featherweight division( God I hope so) he will get his due in America.

I think we will see him eventually in the UFC or WEC (to fight Uriah Faber)

Did you catch that inside the UFC episode where Dana is interviewing with the Japanese press and holds up a picture of kid and says "I WANT HIM!"

Its only a matter of time...

Hmmm... I just quoted you and said basicly the same thing in my rankings thread (Fedor and GSP). Something else I mentioned is that since he's not in UFC or Pride, possibly a lot of the newer fans don't know him so his 9th place ranking is due to an average of veteran fans giving him his due and newer fans not recognizing him at all.

Yamamoto is a great fighter and all, but look at most of his opponents, his last fight was against someone who had no prior MMA experience. His best wins are from Genki Sudo(was stopped early) and Caol Uno. I understand his opponents are bigger than him, but he hasn't beaten the best. If you are making a case about him destroying everyone at featherweight, then it doesn't matter since the weightclasses you can choose only go down to lightweight.

I just think its laughable that Wanderlei Silva and BJ Penn are ranked above him. BJ has lost 3 of his last 4 fights and Wanderlei has lost 2 of his last 4 fights and one of his wins was a very questionable decision. Two years ago they belonged on this list, but not now.

Until he fights Faber, the jury is still out for me.

Faber should fight some real competition, then.

Ah yeah 145 and 155 fighters fall to his fists too.
Guys okay. Think about this p4p. So fighters with less pounds and same amount of skill are ranked higher than heavy fighters with the same amount of skill. But that being said nobody can rank GSP or Fedor out of top 3. I have Yamamoto at #3 personally. But cmon if you dont like the rankings............. who cares. Put your vote in and hopefully it will make a difference.

I think the majority of top featherwights are japanese right now, so they could bring Kid over ( I think he would prove it) and then it might start a migration of international talent to the UFC to give him contenders. Faber, Griffin,Hominick and Melendez ( used to fight at this weight) are the best N.American fighter's at that weight to me. Melendez is with Pride, but I think Kid would dispatch of Griffin , Hominick, Faber pretty well. It would be a huge step towards globalizing the sport if the UFC opened that division IMO.
