Gregor Gracie hasn't had much time to enjoy his recent win at ONE FC.
Pretty much as soon as he got out of the cage, he had another fight.
"I think [my manager] knew before," Gracie recently told MMAjunkie.com Radio (www.mmajunkie.com/radio). "Right after, he congratulated me. Then he was like, 'Come back and start training.'"
Gracie (7-2), who meets Tyson Steele (8-1) at World Series of Fighting 1, didn't put up much of a struggle. Since grade school, he's wanted to fight.
"I can't imagine my life without it," he said.
World Series of Fighting takes place Nov. 3 at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The event airs on NBC Sports Network.
Not every Gracie feels the same about the family business, especially Gracie parents. His mom, who is the widow of the late Rolls Gracie, put him in private school and hoped he would become a doctor or lawyer. He didn't want to be either, nor did he desire the career most of his schoolmates longed for.
