If there is a Fighter of the year, there should also be worst fighter of the Year!!

I have my worst five:

Dan Hardy: what is happening to him??? Losing to Lytle is the exclamation point!
Loss to Chris Lytle and Anthony Johnson

Matt Hamill: Retiring is the exclamation point!
Loss to Jackson and Gustafsson

Gray Maynard: Man! This man cannot stop a groggy champion !!! And what kind of strategy did he perform in there 2nd title fight with Edgar,, boxing in the 2nd round after slugging and dominating in the 1st round.

Jake Shield: I know you will agree with it!!
Loss to Ellenberger and St. Pierre

Jorge Santiago: Just huge losses to Maia and Stann!

I cannot pick who is the worst!!

i agree with all those fighters. i wasnt aware that matt hamil had retired, i pay pretty close attention to this sport, so i either missed this altogether or your mistaken. i went with hardy and his losing streak. on the other hand he still has a job with the ufc so maybe i picked the wrong guy.

Shields? The man who broke GSP's round-winning streak? Still fought after the death of his father? Sure he got knocked out bad but worst fighter of the year? Not even cloe. I vote for Santiago.

When you take in to consideration the quality of opponents all of these guys fought, I don't see how you could label *any* of them the "Worst Fighter of the Year".

Surely this has to go to someone who fought lesser competition and lost. All these guys fought at the highest level and came up slightly short, not even dominated in any fashion.

danny downes for sure.

I like the kid a lot, because man he's tough, but he is literally like an animated training dummy that guys just use to practice on lmao.

Faalaaloto wins this easily, he's 2-3 overall.

I gotta go with Mayhem. Seriously, I haven't seen a highly touted fighter come out that flat in a LONG time, if ever.
