Yea armbars from the bottom look like most painful with all that leverage on yur elbow...OUCH

Speaking from experience kneebars are BY FAR the most painful submission to be put in. Heel hooks and Bicep/Knee slicers are also very painful. For chokes, gogoplata takes the cake, though I've seen a few triangle variations that add in a neck crank and put pressure on the jaw that would absolutely suck to get caught in too.
