Wow. Im shocked.
On a side not, i say any nipple tweaking before fights should be banned from now on. Kinda ruins the outcome of the fight when you see a guy do it lol.

When Pulver put his hand to his face for a moment after the early exchanges I was thinking cut. Apparently that was the beginning of the end because he was staggering soon after.

I am more dissappointed that it ended so fast. This had the potential to be a 3rd high pace fight.

Regarding Zep's comment. The announcer (not Mir) stated in an earlier fight that Fighter A was pushing the pace, when really Fighter B was stalking Fighter A. How can you push the pace when you are backing up?

I had Sonnen as my pick all along, after the first fight I planned all along to go with him in the rematch based on what happened the first time. Sonnen showed he can beat Filho before, now we'll find out if he can do it again.
Edit: RMFG-the fight is NON-TITLE but there were reports yesterday that if Sonnen wins, Filho will hand the title belt over to him. Whether or not that would be recognized as a title change is yet to be seen and might not matter since this is the last title fight.

I have no problems with people booing before a fight, but I just wish they would shut up during the fight. Unfortunatly they are pretty bad this event.

Clever little trick there with the foot stomps by Sonnen and Filho grabbed him. This is definitely a 10-9 Sonnen round, but given Filho's inactivity 10-8 is not a stretch to me.
