With this weekend's UFC and Strikeforce shows behind us, we now move into a month of relatively little MMA action. But that doesn't mean there's not good stuff to watch. One highlight of March? The return of Cro Cop.
This Saturday, Mirko Cro Cop fights for the first time since leaving the UFC last October. After his UFC 137 loss to Roy Nelson, Cro Cop said that was his farewell fight, but later clarified that he was not retired - just done with the UFC and maybe MMA. So now, Cro Cop returns to the sport where he first made his name - kickboxing.
Mirko Cro Cop will headline a kickboxing event this Saturday. Titled "Cro Cop Final Fight", the show will take place in Croatia. Cro Cop will be facing fellow K-1 veteran Ray Sefo. This will be Cro Cop's first kickboxing fight since 2003 when he left the sport to pursue MMA full time.
Now, we have good news - the entire show will be available live. US fans have a few options on how to watch:
Free for anyone who gets the FIGHT NOW TV channel (channel 464 for Cablevision subscribers)
On PPV for DIRECTV customers (channel 123 HD or 124)
Live stream in a PPV broadcast from www.fightnow.com
No further details yet on the stream, but we will be sure to get those to you when they are available.
